I was extremely excited to get my windshield fixed 10/10/2023, And even more so when I went in to pick up my car. They were fast, friendly, and seemed professional. It seemed they did an amazing job! Unfortunately that was short lived. On the drive home I heard some rattling coming from what I thought to be my consul area so I thought nothing of it. I looked up at my mirror and noticed it was not flush with the rest of the car, also noticing my rear view camera no longer worked as it did when I dropped off the vehicle. I strictly park my car in reverse using my rear view camera, so this came as a shock to me when I observed a black screen with error lights. I took the vehicle back to be inspected by Safelite members as it was working properly before. Also mentioning the plastic covering wasn’t fully secured. They seemed to have fastened the plastic covering and told me my camera was on me and wasn’t working when the car was dropped off. I was told it’s now reading error codes. MIND you they refuse to work on a car with any dash lights on reading ERROR due to recalibration of the camera in the front window. So I thought that was funny, cool another bill from the dealership. As I drove to get my morning coffee this morning, the plastic covering fell completely off. I observed multiple pieces had been broken off. Mind you this is my first window replacement on my 2020 Jetta. So there’s no reason anything should be broken Now seeing where the rattling was coming from, there appeared to be some of the broken pieces GLUED TO THE PLASTIC AS IF nothing happened. Not to mention my Joker mirror decor is now missing foot, clearly he had two feet when the window was cracked?? This was a horrible experience for me and not yet over.

Terrible customer service. The tech accidentally runs over a panel and busts up the pins. Fair enough accidents happen. I send an email with pictures to Their store manager Michelle Benitez. She states that she’ll talk to the tech and contact me back. It’s been 3 weeks and this has not happened. They claimed to have ordered a pin because that is what the tech stated was needed. Well if Michelle Benitez contacted me like she said, we could order the right part and she can see for herself what was needed. Instead, nothing has been done. Was told this week May 6, that she would contact me. Still waiting. It’s amazing how this store manager cannot keep her word and keep an open line of communication. I have never rushed for the parts to be ordered or rushed but simply communicate the process. Lazy or incompetent, Michelle Benitez is a terrible manager.

I got a couple big chips going thru a construction site. Safelite have me an appointment for the next day which I had to cancel, but got right in the day after. They had me fixed n ready to go in no time at all. Very professional n friendly folks!
