Dan Kalm3 StarSo I've done business with Mark's ACE for over a decade having a corporate business account. I used them exclusively to take care of my office in Tucson--soaps, toilet paper, cleaning products, maintenance items etc. So in the past, Mark's has set up our purchases and done the delivery. Attached are photos of my Gozney Pizza oven delivered 3 weeks ago and not set up. I won't bore you with the details--but suffice to say, I've spent thousands of dollars with Marks. Today my interaction with Jeremy was horrendous--f bombs, blaming me for them not setting it up and then blaming me for his not showing up to get this resolved last week. I finally told them to take back the oven--to which they charged me a several hundred dollar restocking fee--which I gladly paid. I closed my account and paid my fees. At this point, I've asked state Attorney General to look at the business practice and the fact they charged sales tax on a restocking fee. So if you're in the market for a lovely Traeger, or a Gozney or some other wonderful backyard cooking machine--keep shopping. I've not had as poor of a customer service interaction since third Tuesday of I can't remember when. And when I closed my account--they didn't raise a fuss. Guess they're making bank charging people restock fees for their mistakes. By the way, what store manager uses F bombs when trying to potentially defuse a situation--that they created.Thursday 19th September 2024
Kristi LaBonte5 StarGreat experience at this Ace! Julie directed us to the exact aisles and locations for everything we needed. Nick cut new glass window panes for us and made a key copy that we needed. Overall, all the employees were extremely friendly and helpful! The store was very clean and even had 25% off of all their Christmas selection.Tuesday 13th December 2022
Laurie Dechery1 StarTerrible service. I went looking for any kind of high heat silicone. I was sent to 3 different aisles by 3 different clerks - no one took the trouble to actually find it for me. Then told they didn’t have it - actually recommended going to Home Depot or ordering in Amazon when I showed them the results of a google search!
I eventually found what I needed, but by then was so annoyed I decided to buy it elsewhere.
This is my 3rd experience with incompetence and laziness among the employees of this store. Will not be returning - there are better options.Saturday 28th September 2024
Garrett Whitley1 StarAs numerous other reviews have already stated, Jeremy is a terrible store manager. He is unkind, unhelpful, and mean-spirited. I'm only writing this review because of him and the multiple negative encounters that I've had with him. He seems to believe that every customer is trying to scam/"pull one over" on him. As a loyal ACE customer for over a decade (I never shop at HD or Lowes), I will not be returning to this store because of Jeremy and his blatant rudeness -- both on the phone and in person.
Isn't it interesting that there are many reviews for this store that are all calling HIM out by name, and other employees aren't even mentioned...
There is a reason for that.
To be extremely clear, I've only had good encounters with everyone else in the store. All other employees have been kind, reasonable, and a pleasure to be around. It's possible for 1 negative presence to ruin all of that.
I am tired of falsely being given credit for operating in poor faith while actively giving that person my business.
I'm done.
Remove Jeremy, and I will gladly come back.Friday 1st November 2024
carly quinn5 StarThe best customer service around. I've been going to this Ace for years and have always had a great experience, everyone is very friendly and always there to help. I'm just now writing a review because I went there on the 4th of July (couldn't even believe they were open!) because I had an emergency grill situation. Jeremy and his crew were super helpful in recommending another grill and immediately delivering it to my house before my guests came over. Really superb small business, highly recommended!Saturday 6th July 2024
