Failed emissions! Took the car in to Excel Automotive Repair. Super honest and was very up front with costs. No surprise charges at pick up. They did multiple services cheaper than anywhere else. And they did a good job. Passed emissions too! Highly recommend!!

I would give a hundred stars, Ralph Aldecoa goes the extra mile in making sure you not only get a good deal on the cost of parts but also in making sure it's done right and what needs fixed is what's done. Customers come first to him, he genuinely cares about people and making sure their vehicle is in the best working order. He isn't doing it to make money, but to make sure people are taken care of. He works with payments and in transporting vehicles that need worked on. He will personally arrange for pick up and do it himself as needed. He goes to cities to pick up parts that are cheaper than other sources but still good quality. He really enjoys doing a good job on making sure vehicles are taken care of and running properly. This is the place to go for good honest work on vehicles.

Simply the best repair shop in Tucson. Quality work at a reasonable price. Ralph is a honest, hard working mechanic who cares about your vehicle. Got my ride repaired and back on the road in no time. Highly recommended. Excel is the only place I will take my car!

Hey everyone this place is a very good place to go to get your car fix. I remeber i was at reily getting something for my car and my something in the engine was leaking and smoking pretty bad and the owner of this place was there telling me what was wrong. I don't know anything about car so he was telling me my radiator was leaking. But of course I didn't have enough money to get this fix and I had just started a new job. So he was very kind to sent one of his mechanic to meet me at reply to take me home and to pick up my kids from day care with no additional charge. So short story is my car wasn't going to be fixed right away because it is a big project along with a water pump. So he lend me one of his car from his lot to use in the mean time again with no additional charge. So once my car was fixed I still didn't have enough money so he did a payment plan with me. Didn't make sign anything because he believe in helping people. So for now on I will be going back to this place to get all my car services done. Please give this place a chance, go for something small like a oil charge and you will see great customer service and this place have an A plus business rating license all over the wall. If the owner is reading this again THANK YOU for helping me.

Ralph and Lupita at Excel are the kind of business owners we only wish still existed everywhere. My experience has always been a positive one, be it with paint and body work or mechanical work that they have done on my vehicles. Even when they are busy, Ralph takes the time to help and goes above and beyond. My cars are shiny and new looking thanks to Excel. Their prices are more than fair and their work is top notch. As a side note, anyone on these reviews who says otherwise must be either out to get something for nothing or be trying to swindle Ralph. Neither of which should be taken seriously. Take your cars to Excel, you won't regret it.
