I recently had the misfortune of having my transmission go out on me. Atlas Transmission came recommended by a close friend. After their knowledgeable and professional diagnosis, I needed to have a full transmission replacement. Tony and Amanda (and the rest of the crew) were kind, courteous, professional, and fair. They installed my Import Performance Transmission built A760H into my 2013 Lexus GS350 AWD along with installing a Tru-cool transmission cooler. If you ever have power-train problem with your CHEVY, I highly recommend ATLAS. I brought my vehicle to WATSON to diagnose a problem that manifested as a hesitation while driving at low speeds. WATSON mis-diagnosed the problem and charged me for repair that did not MITIGATE the problem. I brought the vehicle back and was told I would have to leave it for 3-weeks before any further diagnoses could be done! I contacted ATLAS and got an immediate response from TONY the owner. He called and I described the problem he responded as to the possible causes. ATLAS successfully diagnosed the problem expeditiously and made the repair. I would highly recommend ATLAS. Amanda at the front desk was helpful, responsive and provided status and feedback during the repair. TONY contacted me several times during the repair and personally root-caused the problem. ATLAS has a great staff, pride of workmanship and responsive to the customer. Don't take your car to WATSON. Go to ATLAS!

Recently having moved from Texas finding a reliable trustworthy shop to work on my 69 Chevelle was a gamble. I came to Atlas Transmission and met Tony. I explained to Tony that after having installed new 355 gears, positraction, a new stage 2 700R4, and a brand new top end w EFI, I could not get my car to burn out! He got in the car with me, I told him to drive it like it was his. In minutes he said, “I know what you need.” A new torque converter that allowed my car to reach and optimize its power band. Fair pricing with excellent quality work. Tony’s team found an issue with my distributor cap and quickly repaired it as well. My build is finally done and running as intended. The car now lights em’ up on demand. Tony and team at Atlas Transmissions are great people that will guide you to get the repair you need with excellent service.
