ACE Hardware Stores, Inc. was incorporated in Tucson, Arizona in 1962, as the first ACE Hardware Store in the State of Arizona. We are both locally owned and managed, and also an affiliate of the Ace Hardware co-operative; comprised of over 5,000 stores in the U.S. and over 500 retail stores in 70 countries around the world. We are proud to be part of the Tucson community for the past 51 years, and to have served three generations of Tucsonans. This is by far the best staffed retail establishment I've ever shopped at! Their employees are SO helpful, I can't get in and get out without being stopped by 6-7 different employees making sure I'm finding what I'm looking for. Everything is well stocked and I like this location specifically because of the selection of kitchen gadgets, toys, Yeti products etc. Oh and I absolutely love the decor, finding random roosters everywhere just makes me so happy. 😁

I'm driving down to Ace thinking how much I enjoy the convenience of this location, so close to my home. A snowbird new to the area. Love Tucson. I arrive at the store, staff is friendly. I have some furnace filters purchased at this store to exchange due to being the incorrect size. I don't have my receipt but the manager is able to locate my purchase via my Ace rewards member ID. Evidently I purchased the filters back in April, which is beyond their 90 day limit for returns. I had a basket full of items totalling well over $350. The manager said he couldn't process the exchange. As I was collecting the filters I brought to exchange the cashier who standing next to the manager asked me, don't you want to make your purchase? I was a little taken back that she would ask that, but I remaind polite and told her no, I'll take my business elsewhere. When I'm in town I'm at the hardware store nearly everyday. Always doing projects. Disappointed that management was unwilling to make an exception, especially given that we are talking about furnace filters, the exact same ones that they currently have on the shelf for sale. Bummed, the staff was kind and very helpful though.

Outstanding customer service! I shop at this Ace Hardware location. Every time I've gone in I've been greeted by a member of their staff with a welcoming smile and an offer to help me. Yesterday was definitely different as many of the staff went above and beyond their normal job duties to help me with my issue ~ particularly Brad. Thank you. KUDOS to your team.

They had a great selection of fishing poles, ranging from beginner to advanced models. A staff member named Andy helped me pick out the perfect one for my needs. As for ammunition, they had a wide variety, and the Andy was very knowledgeable. It made the shopping experience really easy and enjoyable!

Busy people shop at Ace! I always get great advice and guidance in EVERY department at this store. I drove up to the big box hardware store because I thought I could save money—NOT! Shopping there I end up having to search for someone and half the time they give me bad advice. It’s the OPPOSITE at Ace. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. Most times no less than 3 people ask if they can help without me searching for them. They can replace your screens with labor included cheaper than buying products on Amazon. I have bought everything from landscaping, electrical, plumbing, paint, wall repair, etc. plus, they have yummy bottled soda!
